In the world today, now more than ever, we need to empower each other in our health and right living. They are intimately linked. How you treat each other, the planet, your body, and your life will produce the sum result of what you experience and will either contribute to the problems of the world or the solutions at hand. To become more conscious is no longer just a nice idea for those who have the time in their lives; the state of the world is calling for all of us to wake up to living a more natural and harmonious way.
How can I support your healing journey?
I am a health and
spiritual coach, offering a listening presence and some effective tools
for healing. I offer counseling, teaching, energetic balancing and healing,
spiritual work as well as hands-on therapies such as deep tissue
massage and acupressure. I have worked with a number of powerful
teachers, therapists, healers and shamans over the course of my 20
years in this profession and I feel honored to be able to offer this
support in a way that is fine tuned to your needs.
I
do not heal or "fix" anyone. However, I have practiced the ability to
facilitate an experience of healing. I also act as a mirror for those
things that are difficult for you to see on your own. Essentially, you
are your own healer and I believe in empowering people to make informed
decisions about their body, their minds and their spirits. Please see

In my practice, I
use a technique I call "mindheart", because it takes into account both
the witness/wisdom aspect of the mind and the joy found in the
heart. Together with the breath of the "hara" or center of the
lower belly, you can become completely balanced, energized and more
aware. Really this technique is a form of tantra, which is an ancient
practice with various forms. It also takes into account other types of
senses and listening, so it can be considered a form of shamanism. It
takes into account the natural laws of the body and its environment, so
it might be called a kind of practical science. It also takes into
account a recognition of a greater web or conciousness, so it might be
called a kind of spirituality. All of these aspects are found in
mindheart. Ultimately, it is about what works.

With the help of many teachers along the way, I have fine-tuned what I call the "mindheart" practice. This practice is a is both a way of working with yourself and with others. It is built on an understanding of how we evolve and come into greater integration and balance. The mindheart practice has the potential to bring you to superior functioning in all aspects of your life if applied. My work with it has focused on health and healing and it lends itself especially well with hands-on techniques. Everything is connected and your body reflects what's going on in your life. This practice borrows from some ideas from other traditions, but explains a process in a modern, straightforward and scientifically grounded way. It is my intention to clarify the process of spiritual awakening and healing in a way that takes the "woo-woo" or any 'new age' mystery out of it. You don't need to follow any belief system other than the belief that you can be more concious and more effective in your life.

Essentially, this practice of working with myself and others for optimal results involves the following:
1. A developed mental focus, using particular techniques, clearing and opening the mind 2. A circulation of physical energy using breath, clearing and opening the heart 3. A union of these two aspects to combine into a powerful and very balanced healing energy using a third 'anchor point".
This energy can then be focused and directed at any aspect in one's life, (physical, mental or emotional) for incredible benefits.
The mind heart practice works because it takes into account both the emotional/energetic source of an issue as well as using the mental/perceptive causes.
There are many practices out there. However, if they work, it is because all effective practices have as their foundation certain laws or principles of nature and the human condition. I advocate other techniques as well, sometimes in conjunction with this practice. Everyone is a little unique and we need different approaches at the various stages of our development.
