Mind Training Techniques

Mind training simply means that you discipline and clear your mind, building focus and concentration for a variety of aaplications. It enables the brain-mind system to work more coherently and efficiently and allows you to access states of experience, awareness and insight that are not intentioal available without the training. There are a variety of methods for accomplishing this. Meditation is an ancient tradition in many cultures. Martial arts and Yoga are mind training systems that involve the body.  Through disciplined practice, the student can achieve remarkable, even seeming impossible feats. When the mind is cleared and thoughts are corraled, the body follows suit. In this way, clearing the mind can help to remove some of the biggest obstacles for the body to get past as it tries to heal and be balanced. A balanced mind will indeed help heal the body. And beyond that, those who wish to investigate such things as lucid dreaming, extrasensory abilities, heightened intuition and so on, will find that mind training will open the door.
